The files arent corrupt. Right click the game exe -> properties -> unflag readonly -> apply -> launch.
maybe follow a course how to launch apps for dummies?

use ur brain u need to paste some files in the steam common folder aswell + apply the crack. it works for me so ur doing something wrong. it aint hard tho

for me the game launching but i ve only the main menu background with the music. the menu not appear. someone have a solution ?
IMO, give up on this release and play the last version. Next time the game gets updated you try to update it again.
At least I can play with the elamigos version or gog, even if there is no hotfixes. And elamigos is up to hotfix 1 (still has the big buyback bug that corrupts game files, but still, better than nothing).
Guys, give some better solution around Steam corrupted file pop up! It quits immediately. I tried all above suggestions..
